My first volunteering is relay race marathon. My friend pushed me to go and see what is sport volunteering all about. I went and I stayed. Volunteering at the marathon was a fun way to spend a May weekend. I was responsible for assisting people who wanted to participate in the additional events for the spectators. I had to explain them what are the rules of the games and collect their results.

Interesting people and the great atmosphere influenced me to apply for the next voluntary. I participated in European University Championships 2010, FIH Indoor World Cup 2011, 47th Varsoviada (Students Olympic Games), World Short Track Speed Skating Team Championships and more.

Each of my voluntary  was an interesting adventure. I met unique people and lived unforgettable moments.  This just my first post. Treat it as an introduction. Later on I will publish on this blog reports from my new volunteering activities.
